Add Toll402 to Claude or ChatGPT

Once connected, you just ask in normal words ("find the email of the marketing director at…", "how many people search for…", "make an image of…") and the assistant uses Toll402's tools for you. You pay a few cents per result from your Toll402 credits, never more than the daily limit you choose.

Buy credits from $5 on the credits page and keep the key it gives you. No account yet? Create one with your email during the connection: your first call is free, so you can try it before adding credits.

Choose your app

    Open claude.ai (or the Claude desktop app) and sign in.

    Click your name or initials (bottom left) and open Settings, then Connectors.

    Click Add custom connector. In Name write Toll402, and in URL paste the address you copied above. Click Add.

    Toll402 now appears in your connectors list. Click Connect next to it.
    What you'll see: A Toll402 window opens. If you already have credits, paste your key (it starts with tk_, you got it when you paid). If you are new, type your email to create an account. Choose a daily limit (for example $5: the app can never spend more than that per day) and click Allow.

    You are back in Claude and Toll402 shows as connected. In a chat, open the tools button under the message box and check that Toll402 is switched on.

    Start a new chat and ask something like: "Use Toll402 to find the monthly Google searches for 'coffee shop' in Mexico". The first time, Claude asks for permission to use the Toll402 tool: click Allow.

Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan. If you don't see Add custom connector, your plan may not include it, or, on Team and Enterprise plans, an owner has to add it for everyone in the organization settings (Connectors).

    Add Toll402 once from claude.ai on a computer (tab Claude (web & desktop)).

    Open the Claude app on your phone with the same account. Toll402 is already there: open the tools menu in a chat and make sure it is on.

Connectors you add on the web follow your account to the iPhone and Android apps.

    Open chatgpt.com and sign in. Click your profile picture and open Settings.

    Go to Apps & Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode. (This is needed while Toll402 is being reviewed for ChatGPT's app directory; after that you will add it with one click.)

    Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create. Name: Toll402. MCP server URL: paste the address you copied above. Authentication: OAuth. Tick that you trust the application and click Create.

    ChatGPT sends you to Toll402 to connect.

    In a new chat, click + next to the message box, open More (or Developer mode) and choose Toll402.

Custom connectors in ChatGPT depend on your plan and, for company workspaces, on your admin. If you don't see Developer mode, your plan or workspace doesn't allow it yet.

An alternative for Claude Desktop that works with your key instead of the connect window.

    Double-click the downloaded file (it ends in .mcpb). Claude Desktop opens and shows Toll402: click Install.

    Paste your Toll402 key (tk_…) when it asks, and save. Tip: create a separate key with a daily limit in your dashboard and use that one.

    Look for Connectors, MCP, Integrations or Tools in the app's settings, and an option to add a custom or remote server.

    Paste the address above. If it asks how to sign in, choose OAuth.

You stay in control

Daily limit per app

Each connected app has its own limit. Change it or switch the app off any time in your dashboard → API keys; the app loses access immediately.

See every charge

Your dashboard lists every call: which tool, what was asked and what it cost. Failed calls are never charged.

Nothing else is shared

The app never sees your card or your key. It only gets permission to run Toll402 tools within your limit.

If something doesn't work

I don't see "Add custom connector" (Claude) or "Developer mode" (ChatGPT)

Your plan or your company's workspace doesn't allow custom connectors yet. On Team or Enterprise plans ask an admin to add Toll402 for the organization. You can also use Claude Desktop with the install file (tab "Claude Desktop (install file)").

The Toll402 window says the request expired

Close it and click Connect again in the app. The window is valid for 15 minutes.

The assistant says "not enough credits"

Add credits in your dashboard. You can turn on automatic top-up so it never runs out mid-task.

The assistant says the daily limit was reached

Raise the limit for that app in dashboard → API keys, or wait until the next day (limits reset at midnight UTC).

The assistant doesn't use Toll402

Check that Toll402 is switched on in the chat's tools menu, and mention it in your request: "Use Toll402 to…".
